About This Opportunity

Synopsys' Generative AI Center of Excellence defines the technology strategy to advance applications of Generative AI across the company. The GenAI COE pioneers the core technologies – platforms, processes, data, and foundation models – to enable generative AI solutions, and partners with business groups and corporate functions to advance AI-focused roadmaps.

We are looking for a motivated AI/ML Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer and contribute to exciting projects in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. This internship offers an opportunity to work on real-world problems, collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers, and gain hands-on experience building intelligent software solutions. The ideal candidate is curious, technically strong, eager to learn, and excited to apply AI/ML concepts to practical engineering challenges.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the development and evaluation of AI/ML prototypes and software solutions
• Contribute to projects involving machine learning, data analysis, automation, or Generative AI applications
• Help prototype and test AI-powered features, models, or proof-of-concepts
• Participate in software development activities including coding, debugging, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers on technical problem solving and project execution

What You'll Need:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or scikit-learn
• Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of software development fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
