With over nine years of experience in ASIC digital design, you thrive in complex environments where innovation, precision, and collaboration are paramount. Your expertise in RISC architectures and microprocessor IP design sets you apart, and you are comfortable programming at both the assembly and C/C++ levels. You possess a strong foundation in digital signal processing (DSP) and multi-core architecture concepts, allowing you to optimize designs for performance, speed, area, and power. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Architecting and designing embedded RISC microprocessor IP at both architectural and RTL levels.
  • Writing comprehensive high-level architecture and micro-architecture specifications for processor designs.
  • Optimizing designs for performance, speed, area, and power, generating hardware benchmarks, and analyzing results.
  • Developing standalone Verilog testbenches to verify modules and ensure robust functionality.
  • Debugging design issues and collaborating closely with verification teams to resolve bugs and improve quality.
  • Maintaining existing processor product lines and derivative products, ensuring ongoing reliability and innovation.
  • Developing and managing project plans, working closely with program managers to align deliverables and timelines.
  • Collaborating with multi-site, multi-time zone, and multi-cultural teams on aspects like design, implementation, physical design, and verification.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 9+ years of digital design experience using Verilog in ASIC environments.
  • Strong background in RISC architectures and hands-on experience with microprocessor IP design.
  • Programming proficiency at assembly and C/C++ levels; DSP skills and familiarity with multi-core architectures are advantageous.
  • Experience with multi-site development and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Ability to write architectural and micro-architectural specifications and develop hardware benchmarks.
  • Expertise in optimizing designs for performance, speed, area, and power.
