What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and developing analog circuits at the transistor level, with a focus on CMOS design fundamentals.
- Leading detailed design and analysis of DDR and SerDes sub-circuits including equalizers, samplers, voltage/current-mode drivers, serializers, de-serializers, voltage-controlled oscillators, phase mixers, delay-locked loops, phase locked loops, bandgap references, ADCs, and DACs.
- Utilizing industry-standard tools for schematic entry, physical layout, and design verification to ensure robust and reliable circuit performance.
- Running and interpreting SPICE simulations to validate circuit behavior under various conditions.
- Collaborating with global, cross-functional teams to integrate analog IP into broader chip architectures.
- Contributing to projects involving AI, machine learning, and automotive applications, expanding the reach and versatility of Synopsys IP.
- Managing code and design documentation using version control systems and collaboration platforms.
- Mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices across the team.

What You’ll Need:
- Strong expertise in transistor-level circuit design and sound fundamentals in CMOS technology.
- Hands-on experience with DDR and/or SerDes circuit blocks (equalizers, samplers, drivers, serializers, de-serializers, VCOs, PLLs, DLLs, bandgap references, ADCs, DACs).
- Proficiency with schematic entry, physical layout, and design verification tools.
- In-depth knowledge of SPICE simulators and simulation methodologies.
- Experience with LINUX/UNIX environments and command-line operations.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Perforce) and code collaboration platforms.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, and/or automotive applications is advantageous.
