You Are:

As an Analog Design Engineer, you are a crucial part of our team, bringing your extensive experience and innovative mindset to the forefront. Your technical expertise in high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuit design, coupled with your ability to lead and mentor junior engineers, makes you an invaluable asset. You have a deep understanding of silicon IP design requirements and are adept at using advanced IC design tools. Your strong communication skills enable you to present complex technical information clearly to both peers and customers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Reviewing SerDes standards to develop top and sub-block specifications.
  • Leading projects and guiding junior engineers to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identifying and refining circuit architectures to achieve optimal power, area, and performance targets.
  • Proposing design and verification strategies that utilize simulator features for highest quality design.
  • Overseeing physical layout to minimize effects of parasitics, device stress, and process variation.
  • Reviewing and presenting simulation data for peer and customer reviews.
  • Defining and documenting design features and test plans.
  • Proposing solutions for post-silicon design updates.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • BSEE degree with 5+ years of experience in IC design, or MSEE/PhD with 3+ years of experience.
  • Design experience in high-speed PHY such as DDR, HBM, or SERDES.
  • In-depth familiarity with transistor-level circuit design and CMOS design fundamentals.
  • Detailed design experience with various SerDes sub-circuits like receive equalizers, samplers, voltage/current-mode drivers, and more.
  • Understanding of design for reliability, custom digital design, and layout effects.
  • Experience with schematic entry, physical layout, and design verification tools.
  • Knowledgeable in SPICE simulators and simulation methods, and Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling.
  • Experience with scripting languages like TCL, Perl, C, Python, MATLAB is desired.
  • Hands-on experience with physical layout of high-speed circuits is a plus.

Our Solution IP group in Boxborough, Massachusetts, is a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to developing high-speed analog integrated circuits. You will work with a cross-functional team of analog and mixed-signal circuit designers from diverse backgrounds. Our environment is best in class, with a full suite of IC design tools supplemented by custom, in-house tools supported by an experienced software/CAD team.
