You Are:

You are a seasoned professional with a Masters in EE/CS, 5+ years (or a Bachelors in EE/CS with 10+ years) of relevant experience as a Circuit Designer or CAD engineer working as part of a Custom IC Design team. You have a robust understanding of both presale and post-sale processes, and you are well-versed in SPICE, FastSPICE, and mixed signal simulation. Your knowledge of Full Custom and analog schematic and layout flow, along with extraction tools, is exceptional. You are proficient in scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, and Python. Your communication and writing skills are top-notch, and you thrive in collaborative environments.

As someone who is passionate about solving high-value problems in the semiconductor design industry, you are eager to tackle challenges related to angstrom-level scaling, multi-die system integration, rapid node migration, right-first-time silicon, and reliability. You are driven by a desire to enable customer flows and deploy analog simulation and implementation solutions for key customers. You excel at collaborating with PAE and R&D teams to define and drive product direction by identifying designer needs and specifying tool capabilities for next-generation designs.

  • Providing technical and engineering insight to improve product usability, applicability, and adoption.

  • Utilizing your expertise in SPICE, FastSPICE, and mixed signal simulation to solve complex design challenges.

What You’ll Need:

  • BSEE, BSCE, MSEE, or MSCEE with 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience in presale and post-sale activities.
  • Familiarity with SPICE, FastSPICE, and mixed signal simulation.
  • Knowledge of Full Custom and analog schematic and layout flow and extraction tools.
  • Proficiency in TCL, Perl, and Python scripting languages.
