You Are:
You are a highly skilled and experienced professional with a deep understanding of SoC design and verification. With 8-10 years of experience in simulation, emulation, or ASIC design/verification, you are adept at using SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL. Your knowledge extends to SoC design methodologies and technologies, and you are driven to help customers achieve their emulation verification goals. You possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Emulation and Prototyping has become an indispensable part of SoC design verification with growing design size and complexity. Synopsys is uniquely positioned to offer the most complete verification, emulation, and prototyping solution in the market today.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Engaging directly with customers to debug and solve hardware prototyping issues.
• Utilizing FPGA tools such as Vivado and ProtoCompiler for timing analysis and closure.
• Deploying new technologies and methodologies in collaboration with R&D.
• Influencing product direction based on customer feedback and requirements.
• Working with waveform and schematic analysis tools to address and resolve issues.
• Providing technical support and guidance to the largest HAPS customers.
The Impact You Will Have:
• Ensure successful deployment of next-generation hardware platforms for major customers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of FPGA prototyping tools and methodologies.
• Enhance the usability and applicability of Synopsys products through direct customer engagement.
• Influence the development of new features and capabilities based on customer needs.
• Drive innovation by collaborating with R&D and marketing teams on product improvements.
• Support the adoption and integration of Synopsys solutions in customer environments.
What You’ll Need:
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Simulation, Emulation, Prototyping, or ASIC design/verification using SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL.
• Good knowledge of SoC design methodologies and technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of RTL synthesis, mapping RTL to Xilinx FPGA-based platforms, and scripting languages in Unix/Linux environments.
• Working knowledge of C/C++/SystemC is a plus.
• Knowledge of key protocols like PCIe, USB, Ethernet, AMBA, UART, SATA/SAS, DDR, and flash memories.
• Experience in SoC design porting on emulators/prototyping solutions.
• Excellent customer interface, negotiation, communication, and planning skills.
