You Are:

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing expert technical support and engineering insight to Synopsys customers, ensuring successful adoption and optimal use of our EDA tools.
- Developing a deep understanding of customer objectives and challenges to identify needs and enhance the usability of Synopsys solutions.
- Partnering with customer technical leaders and engineers to architect and implement effective technical solutions using Synopsys EDA platforms.
- Team with Sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities in both existing and new accounts, driving company growth.
- Collaborating with R&D to relay customer feedback, influence product development, and contribute to the evolution of Synopsys tools and features.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues on customer installations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and technical excellence.
- Reviewing and analyzing customer feedback on product performance and collaborating with application partners to drive continuous improvement.
- Presenting and delivering detailed technical training, product overviews, and solution demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of experience in digital design, ASIC/SoC development, or EDA applications engineering.
- Expertise in RTL design, and flow optimization, with deep understanding of synthesis and hands-on experience using tools like Design Compiler or Fusion Compiler. Will also work closely with the Physical implementation teams.
- Strong background in timing closure, constraint development (SDC), and low-power methodologies (UPF).
- Proficient in debugging synthesis issues, cross-probing, and applying advanced logic equivalence checking. Skills in linting, CDC/RDC analysis are of advantage.
- Working knowledge of RTL coding and code reviews; familiarity with multi-voltage and power-gated designs is advantageous.
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Program management skills are a plus.
- Ability to work onsite in Munich 2-3 days per week.
