You Are:
You are an experienced engineer with a passion for solving complex technical challenges and empowering customers to achieve their goals. With a strong background in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, you excel at integrating simulation software into engineering workflows, customizing solutions, and driving business impact. You are curious and proactive, always seeking to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions. Your expertise spans automation, optimization, and AI/ML-based technologies, and you have hands-on experience with platforms such as Ansys optiSLang, Ansys ModelCenter, or similar.
You thrive in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating across functions to deliver high-value solutions. You are comfortable communicating with technical and business stakeholders alike, from engineers to senior managers and executives. Your logical approach to problem-solving, paired with strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency, enables you to manage multiple projects efficiently. You are adept at scripting and programming, leveraging languages like Python, C/C++, Java, or C# to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, including technical discovery, success criteria setup, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
- Engaging directly with customers to understand their engineering design workflows and product development goals, and articulating the value proposition of Ansys (part of Synopsys) solutions.
- Creating and deploying differentiating simulation solutions using Ansys tools and technologies, integrating these into customer workflows for measurable business impact.
- Collaborating with product development teams to translate customer requirements into new product features, testing new releases and developing best practices.
- Participating in corporate initiatives, presales/sales enablement, and team member mentoring to advance solution suites and professional growth.
- Supporting field and digital marketing efforts, authoring conference presentations, and contributing to consulting services and training classes.
- Providing tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring successful adoption of advanced simulation technologies.

What You’ll Need:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Professional experience in engineering software environments (BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+1 minimum; BS+8, MS+6, or PhD+3 preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency with Ansys (part of Synopsys) software or other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM packages.
- Skills in tool chaining, workflow customization, automation, and scripting/programming (Python, C/C++, Java, C#).
- Strong knowledge and experience with design of experiments, optimization, and AI/ML technologies including Reduced Order Modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Process Integration and Design Optimization platforms like Ansys optiSLang, Ansys ModelCenter, or equivalents.
- Logical problem-solving abilities and clear communication of technical solutions to customers.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to lead webinars and presentations.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time.
