You Are:

You are an innovative, motivated, and dependable Applications Engineer with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology. With a solid background in static timing concepts and engineering fundamentals, you are adept at debugging transistor-level design issues and have hands-on experience with tools like NanoTime. You thrive in a collaborative environment and possess excellent communication and social skills. You are excited about the opportunity to work closely with customers, helping them adopt and continuously utilize advanced tools to achieve their design goals. You are also eager to influence technology roadmaps by providing valuable field input to the R&D team. If you have experience in advanced technology nodes and a knack for scripting languages like TCL, you will find this role especially rewarding.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Utilizing in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to customers, helping them solve day-to-day technical problems and develop world-class static timing methodologies.
• Providing consultation and validation of product capabilities to prospective users.
• Conducting tool training sessions to ensure customers are well-versed in NanoTime and other relevant tools.
• Offering technical expertise to sales staff through presentations and product demonstrations.
• Assisting the sales team in assessing the potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications.
• Collaborating with other Synopsys Applications Engineers to ensure consistency in end-to-end design flow and meet customer requirements.

• Enhancing customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective technical support.
• Enabling customers to achieve optimal power, performance, and area goals through the effective use of NanoTime.
• Contributing to the development of advanced transistor-level static timing characterization and library modeling solutions.
• Influencing technology and solution roadmaps by providing accurate input from the field to the R&D team.
• Ensuring the continuous improvement of Synopsys tools through feedback and collaboration with the R&D team.
• Supporting the sales team in driving product adoption and meeting sales targets.

What You’ll Need:

• At least a BSc degree in a relevant field and three years of recent hands-on experience.
• Solid knowledge of static timing concepts and engineering fundamentals.
• Exceptional expertise in transistor-level design to debug circuit-level issues.
• Proficiency in TCL and other scripting languages.
• Experience with tools like Siliconsmart, NanoTime, Liberate, NCX, PrimeTime, PrimePower, and Library Compiler.
