You Are:
You are a motivated, self-driven Application Engineer with a deep passion for custom circuit verification and cutting-edge semiconductor technology. With a robust technical background in transistor-level custom design verification, you excel at understanding circuits at the SPICE netlist level and possess a strong working knowledge of design descriptions in Verilog and System Verilog. Your expertise with Liberty format, including CCS and CCSN, allows you to seamlessly interpret and analyze timing and characterization data. You are deeply familiar with MOSFET transistor-level design and simulation, and thrive in environments that demand both independent problem-solving and collaborative engagement.
Your technical curiosity drives you to stay on top of the latest advancements in static timing analysis (STA) and memory verification, and your experience in memory design enables you to broaden your impact across related tools such as ESP—Synopsys’s SPICE vs. Verilog verification solution for Memories, Standard Cells, and IO cells. You are a clear and confident communicator, able to articulate complex technical concepts to design teams, management, and customers. You take pride in delivering exceptional customer support, whether through training, tape-out support, or collaborative product enhancement initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Acting as a primary technical contact for NanoTime, the industry’s only transistor-level Static Timing Analysis tool, supporting both pre-sale and post-sale activities.
- Driving product adoption through customer evaluations, demonstrating NanoTime’s superiority, and articulating advanced methodologies to design teams and management.
- Providing comprehensive post-sales support, including customer training, tape-out assistance, and troubleshooting complex verification challenges.
- Collaborating with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to relay customer feedback and influence product direction and enhancements.
- Developing technical collateral, such as application notes and best practice guides, to empower customer success and knowledge sharing.
- Supporting advanced collaboration initiatives for continuous improvement of NanoTime and related products.
- Expanding your expertise to support ESP, a verification tool for Memories, Standard Cells, and IO cells, leveraging your knowledge in memory design and verification.

- Expand Synopsys’s reach in memory and standard cell verification through expertise with ESP and related toolsets.
What You’ll Need:
- BSEE or equivalent with 6-7 years of experience, or MSEE or equivalent with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Static Timing Analysis (STA) concepts and Liberty format, including CCS/CCSN.
- Experience with SPICE netlist analysis, transistor-level circuit understanding, and MOSFET simulation.
- Familiarity with memory design and verification methodologies; experience with ESP tool is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL or Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience in customer-facing roles.
