You Are
You have spent years translating messy business realities into clean process maps and requirements that actually drive change. You know the difference between documenting a process and understanding why it breaks under pressure, and you care about both. Your sweet spot is Finance and GTM operations, the kind of work where a bottleneck in cash application can ripple across the entire close cycle, and you have learned to spot those dependencies before they become problems.
You are comfortable walking into a room full of Finance and Sales stakeholders who do not agree on what the problem is, running a discovery session that gets everyone aligned, and walking out with a prioritized list of what needs to happen next. You do not wait for perfect clarity. You ask the right questions, map what exists today, design what should exist tomorrow, and build the bridge between the two.
Process mining tools, automation platforms, and ERP systems are not abstract concepts to you. You have used them. You know what good looks looks like in Salesforce, SAP, UiPath, or Power Platform, and you know when a process needs re-engineering before it needs automation. At Synopsys, you will work with the Intelligent Automation team to modernize Finance and GTM operations across a global enterprise where the work you do directly affects how the business runs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions across Finance, GTM, and Operations teams to document current-state processes and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities
- Design future-state processes and operating models for Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Cash Application, Collections, Billing, Revenue Operations, Financial Close, Reconciliation, Quote Processing, and Order Management
- Perform gap analysis between existing operations and ERP or automation platform capabilities, building the bridge between business needs and technical solutions
- Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements, create user stories, business requirements documents, and process specifications that guide delivery teams
- Manage requirement traceability throughout project lifecycles, ensuring alignment between stakeholders, delivery teams, and business outcomes
- Facilitate decision-making across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams, driving consensus on transformation priorities and trade-offs
- Partner with the Intelligent Automation team to evaluate and recommend AI, automation, and process intelligence solutions that improve scalability, reduce manual effort, and strengthen compliance
The Impact You Will Have
- Accelerate Finance and GTM transformation initiatives by identifying high-impact automation and AI opportunities within critical business processes
- Improve operational efficiency across Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Sales Operations by eliminating process bottlenecks and reducing manual effort
- Strengthen compliance and financial controls by designing scalable, auditable processes that support a global enterprise
- Enable faster decision-making by creating clear, actionable process maps and requirements that align cross-functional teams
- Drive adoption of automation and AI solutions that reduce cycle times in cash application, collections, billing, and revenue operations
- Build a prioritized transformation backlog that focuses resources on the initiatives that matter most to the business
- Establish stronger alignment between Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams through effective facilitation and stakeholder management
What You'll Need
- 7+ years of business analysis experience with deep expertise in Finance and GTM business process analysis
- Hands-on experience with Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Cash Application, Collections, Billing, Revenue Operations, Financial Close, Reconciliation, Quote Processing, Order Management, Sales Operations, or CPQ
- Proven ability to document current-state processes, design future-state operating models, perform gap analysis, and identify automation opportunities
- Strong experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and process re-engineering methodologies
- Experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Power Platform, UiPath, or similar platforms
- Experience with process mining tools, data analysis, or AI and automation technologies is a plus
- Background in the technology sector or experience leading process transformation initiatives is preferred
Who You Are
- You can run a discovery workshop with Finance and Sales stakeholders who do not agree on the problem and walk out with alignment and a clear next step
- You know when a process needs to be fixed before it can be automated, and you are comfortable pushing back when automation is proposed too early
- You think in end-to-end workflows, not isolated tasks, and you understand how a change in one part of the process affects everything downstream
- You are organized enough to manage requirements across multiple transformation initiatives and detailed enough to catch gaps before they become delivery blockers
- You communicate complex trade-offs to executives in two sentences without losing the nuance, and you can translate those same trade-offs into technical specs for delivery teams
- You do not need perfect information to move forward, you work with what you have, ask the right questions, and keep the team on track
