You Are:

You are a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), possessing a deep understanding of finance, accounting, and business management. You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, specializing in the design, configuration, and integration of RAR with Financial Accounting (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), and/or SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM). Your expertise extends to various revenue recognition principles such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15, and you have hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems and RAR. You are adept at custom development in RAR, including transferring custom fields and developing custom solutions using fulfilment events. Your technical proficiency includes ABAP developments in RAR and interface development with both SAP and non-SAP systems. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to lead discussions with business stakeholders and collaborate effectively across functional teams. You are proactive, a quick learner, and have a demonstrated ability to upskill on BRIM modules.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Analyze business requirements, lead design sessions, articulate and present complex ideas, document functional specifications, develop and deploy solutions.
• Design and implement robust and scalable solutions to accommodate changing business needs.
• Document process flows and recommend changes to optimize business processes.
• Participate in design sessions to determine the best use of SAP RAR functionalities.
• Lead and manage deliverables in the SAP RAR Module and its integration with BRIM Contract Accounting and SAP Sales and Distribution.
• Assist in developing functional and technical cross-functional solutions using user exits, RESTful and SOAP-based API interfaces for various SAP components in the Invoice to Cash area, integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects across multiple applications.
• Perform analysis, design, and setup of RAR.
• Interact with business stakeholders and a global cross-functional team to gather various business requirements in revenue and deliver system solutions as per the business requirements.
• Document system configuration, prepare, and execute testing scenarios and scripts.
• Evaluate business requirement specifications and provide fit/gap analysis, demonstrate solutions to key business stakeholders, and perform architectural reviews.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve errors.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with Finance, Accounting, and Business Management (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience specializing in design, configuration, and RAR integration with FI, SD, and/or BRIM.
• Good process knowledge of Order-to-Cash process, SD/FICO modules integration, BRIM process, CO-PA.
• In-depth knowledge of various revenue recognition principles, ASC 606, IFRS 15, and their application to RAR design.
• Hands-on experience with development, configuration, and customization in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and BRF+.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP RAR solutions with a special focus on BRIM-RAR and SD-RAR integration.
• Strong experience in custom development in RAR, transferring custom fields from SD or BRIM to RAR, and developing custom solutions using custom fulfilment events.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP Developments in RAR using Enhancement Framework, BADI.
• Project experience on interface development with both SAP and non-SAP systems, including the use of IDOC, RFCs, BAPI, Web Services.
• Prior experience in high tech or software industries with a good understanding of accounting concepts is desirable.
• SAP S/4 HANA Implementation and RAR Classic and OCM experience is a plus.
• Ability to read ABAP code and debugging skills is preferred.
