The Opportunity

We are seeking a senior executive to lead the strategy and execution of AI platforms that redefine how IPs are designed, verified, and delivered. This is a visible, high‑impact leadership role with enterprise scope, external customer influence, and the ability to shape Synopsys’ long‑term AI and platform direction.

The successful candidate will combine deep technical credibility, executive leadership, and a platform mindset to scale agentic and generative AI from early innovation to durable, industry‑leading solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Define and lead the enterprise strategy for AI‑driven digital methodologies, shaping how AI transforms semiconductor design, verification, and IP workflows at scale.
• Own the end‑to‑end AI platform vision and roadmap, spanning RTL through signoff, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and long‑term evolution.
• Translate corporate and product strategy into a multi‑year execution plan with clear priorities, outcomes, and business impact.
• Build, lead, and grow a senior multidisciplinary organization of AI, software, and domain experts, setting direction, culture, and standards for excellence.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and business leaders to ensure AI platforms are deeply integrated, widely adopted, and value‑realized.
• Serve as a senior external representative of Synopsys, engaging directly with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders on AI architecture and strategy.
• Establish strong governance, security, and responsible AI practices across all AI platforms and deployments.
• Champion an AI‑first mindset by embedding AI into how teams operate, make decisions, and deliver innovation.

What You Bring

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 18+ years of experience across digital design, SoC/IP development, and advanced AI systems, including multiple production‑scale deployments.
• 8+ years in executive or senior leadership roles with ownership of large teams and complex, cross‑organizational initiatives.
• Proven ability to scale AI platforms from early innovation to enterprise‑grade solutions.
• Deep expertise in modern AI architectures, including LLMs, agentic systems, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence C‑level leaders, customers, and senior technical audiences.
• Experience driving transformation in highly technical, engineering‑led organizations.
