What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with software developers to design, implement, and debug features in our industry-leading simulation software.
  • Investigate and resolve defects in production code to ensure robust product performance.
  • Engineer innovative simulation features that enhance the capabilities of our software suite.
  • Develop UI toolkit components for use by both internal teams and external customers.
  • Contribute to infrastructure processes and tools to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Drive improvements in the efficiency and accuracy of ANSYS products, supporting the next generation of engineering solutions.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Enrolled in a full-time degree program and planning to return to university after the completion of the co-op program.
  • Exposure to C++, C#, Java, or Python.
  • Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred: Exposure to object-oriented programming, previous coding experience, exposure to CAD and/or FEA, and strong math skills or experience writing algorithms.  Dedication to three (3) semester rotations for Engineering majors and two (2) semesters for Computer Science majors.
