What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Develop new features and enhance existing functionality in the SAF-SDK Python codebase
  • Apply SOLID principles and clean code practices to produce maintainable and scalable code
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and incorporate feedback from senior developers
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions
  • Document code, APIs, and architectural decisions
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment
  • Create and maintain reusable GitHub Actions workflows and composite actions
  • Partner with IT to maintain and improve DevOps infrastructure
  • Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures to ensure reliable delivery
What You’ll Need:
  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of Python programming (data structures, OOP, modules, packages)
  • Familiarity with SOLID principles and software design patterns
  • Experience with web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture concepts
  • Proficiency with version control using Git
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
  • Openness to give and receive constructive feedback
