What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and deploy AI agents using LangGraph and modern LLM frameworks.
  • Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions with vector databases.
  • Work on Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations and agentic workflows.
  • Develop intelligent automation systems for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with the team on real-world Gen AI projects.
  • Experiment with prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques.
  • Contribute to AI-powered notification and data pipeline systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and team knowledge-sharing sessions.


What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Hands-on experience or coursework with LLMs, Gen AI, or machine learning.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar.
  • Understanding of RAG, vector databases, and embeddings.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Passion for AI technology and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to commit to a 3-month full-time internship.


Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of MCP servers or agentic AI systems.
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software development practices.


Key Program Facts:

  • Program Length: 3 months
  • Location: Sunnyvale, CA, but open to remote candidates across the US.
  • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time
  • Start Date: Summer 2026


Salary Information:

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $27.00-$41.00 per hour. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
