You are a skilled engineer with hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuit layout. Your expertise in advanced FinFET nodes and industry-standard layout tools enables you to deliver high-quality solutions. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and implementing layout for advanced analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuits using industry-leading tools such as Custom Compiler and Virtuoso XL.
  • Taking ownership of top-level blocks and creating highly complex layouts for SERDES and other analog IP components.
  • Collaborating with local and global teams to develop layouts in the latest technology nodes, including advanced FinFET processes.
  • Utilizing foundry design rule manuals to debug and resolve DRC errors efficiently.
  • Validating layout designs through DRC, LVS, and ICV tools, ensuring robust and manufacturable solutions.
  • Contributing to fast-paced IP development projects for various customers and foundries, maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
  • Automating layout tasks using scripting languages such as TCL, SKILL, PERL, or Python to enhance productivity and efficiency.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE) with at least 2 years of direct industry experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in layout of analog and mixed-signal CMOS circuits.
  • Proficiency with full custom analog layout design tools, such as Custom Compiler or equivalent.
  • Experience with schematic-driven layout editor tools (Custom Compiler SDL or Virtuoso XL).
  • Solid working knowledge of DRC, LVS, and debugging results from ICV tools.
  • Experience with advanced FinFET nodes and use of foundry design rule manuals.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (TCL, SKILL, PERL, Python) is a plus.
