What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborate within a team to integrate Machine Learning techniques into non-linear solver development, enhancing performance, stability, and decision-making capabilities.
• Establish and maintain robust data-collection frameworks within solver code to consistently generate high-quality datasets for ML training and analysis.
• Assist in the development, training, and validation of ML-based models aimed at guiding heuristic decisions during non-linear solves.
• Support efforts to ensure the reliability and interpretability of ML components incorporated into solver workflows, including monitoring their impact on solver behaviour.

What You’ll Need:

• Preferred: PhD or Master’s student in Mechanical, Civil, Materials, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics with exposure to numerical methods and programming experience.
