Job Description and Requirements

We are seeking a strategic Leader to manage the lifecycle of our business-critical applications. This role ensures our Business Support Systems are sourced, implemented, and optimized to align with business processes, compliance requirements, and operational excellence. Collaborating with IT, Product, and Engineering teams, you'll drive scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions that support our organizational goals.

 

The ideal candidate is an operations-focused leader with a strong background in business systems management, process optimization, and application lifecycle management. They excel in bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities to deliver reliable and compliant applications that empower internal teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for business applications.
  • Evaluate and select new applications that meet scalability, security, and usability standards.
  • Ensure applications align with defined processes and frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for application performance and user adoption.
  • Oversee audits and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Product teams to integrate applications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, and Application Specialists.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with service-level agreements.
  • Establish KPIs to measure application performance and user satisfaction.
  • Ensure applications adhere to data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in Business Applications management or IT operations.
  • 10+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams and application portfolios.
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce (CRM), Clarity (PPM), iCertis (CLM), and Snowflake (Data Warehouse).
  • Strong expertise in operational frameworks (ITIL, PMBOK, DMBOK).
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements such as ASC 606 is a plus.

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team focused on driving the strategic direction and optimization of business applications. This team includes Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, and Application Specialists who are dedicated to ensuring that applications meet business needs and compliance requirements. Together, you will work closely with IT, Product, and Engineering teams to integrate applications and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
