You Are:
You are an experienced manufacturing planner with a passion for operational excellence and a proven track record of collaborating with contract manufacturing partners. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing and executing production build plan forecasts with Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners
- Managing CM readiness and ensuring alignment with production forecasts and shipping volumes
- Facilitating communication and coordination of hardware movement from CM to third-party logistics (3PL)
- Managing Clear to Build (CTB) production readiness reports per monthly S&OP forecast releases
- Supporting management of consigned Synopsys material at CM factories
- Monitoring and planning production capacity to meet build forecasts
- Establishing and tracking KPIs and metrics to measure CM performance
- Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing challenges and ensuring operational effectiveness
- Collaborating closely with NPI Program Management for new product deployments and EOL ramp-downs
- Partnering with Operations Engineering to manage CARs, SCARs, and Quality Alerts at the CM
- Managing inventory movement, including RMAs and repair cycles

What You’ll Need:
- 8-10+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, operations, or a similar role in the semiconductor or high-tech industry
- BA/BS in Engineering, Management, or equivalent experience
- Expertise in manufacturing inventory and operations management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and modern ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with a track record of managing changing priorities
- Ability to make timely decisions and implement solutions under time constraints
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, including with NPI Program Management and Operations Engineering
- Background in managing small projects and frequent new product deployments

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
You will join the Manufacturing Planning Operations team at Synopsys, a highly collaborative and results-driven group dedicated to supporting the entire lifecycle of our hardware products. The team’s core purpose is to ensure seamless production planning, operational readiness, and superior quality delivery in partnership with contract manufacturers. Working closely with NPI Program Management, Operations Engineering, and supply chain teams, you will contribute to the strategic and tactical success of Synopsys’ manufacturing operations, playing a crucial role in advancing our industry-leading solutions.
