You are a highly experienced reliability and quality expert, passionate about delivering world-class customer experiences in high-performance hardware environments. You thrive in dynamic, cross-functional teams and have a proven track record of navigating complex technical challenges, particularly in emulation platforms. You have worked directly with customers, guiding them through escalations and quality improvements, and you possess the credibility and influence to drive change at multiple organizational levels. Your technical judgment enables you to assess hardware reliability, diagnose failures, and synthesize actionable insights from complex data sets. You understand the importance of downtime reduction and customer trust, and you act as a proactive advocate for reliability-focused decisions. You excel at leading root cause analyses, collaborating with engineering, operations, and field service teams, and communicating improvement plans to both internal and external stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Owning and driving the customer quality experience for Synopsys HAV emulation platforms, ensuring hardware reliability and reducing downtime.
  • Acting as the primary customer-facing owner for quality and reliability topics, communicating initiatives, expectations, and improvement plans clearly and effectively.
  • Leading end-to-end customer escalations, coordinating root cause analysis, hardware component failure analysis, mitigation strategies, recovery plan implementation, and customer communications.
  • Partnering closely with engineering, operations, manufacturing, field service, and R&D to identify and address drivers of system downtime, implementing both immediate corrective actions and long-term structural improvements.
  • Collecting, synthesizing, and interpreting quality and reliability data, transforming insights into concise reports and actionable improvement plans.
  • Serving as a change agent across the organization, championing reliability-focused decisions, advocating for the customer experience, and identifying new processes, tools, or metrics to fill existing gaps.
  • Leading cross-functional reliability planning teams to identify risk areas for new products, propose life, aging, environmental, and robustness tests, and ensure learnings are systematically integrated into future platforms.

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven experience in hardware reliability, quality management, and customer support within emulation platforms or similar environments.
  • Strong technical judgment and analytical skills for diagnosing hardware failures and interpreting complex reliability data.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change in quality-related processes.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, HW component failure analysis, and recovery plan implementation.
  • Familiarity with design-for-reliability practices (e.g., FMEA, DFM/DFT/DFA), electronics manufacturing processes, aging and degradation mechanisms, and hardware reliability screening methods (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with customer emulation flows and troubleshooting test failures/hangs (preferred).
