Job Description and Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer who will focus on executing functional tests and writing regression tests for software applications in Synopsys' Optical Solution Group.

Required: 
  • Expertise programming with python and testing packages such as pywinauto and unittest
  • Strong knowledge (5+ years’ experience) of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in optics, lighting, computer science, or similar technical field a plus
    • Proficient in writing clear/maintainable test cases/scripts from supplied test plans
  • Experience with automated test environment such as Squish or AutoIt is a plus
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a distributed team
  • Proven experience with delivering high quality software products in a demanding commercial industry
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and log software defects.
  • Attention to detail and strong root cause analysis skills
  • Familiar with agile development methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $108,000-$162,000 annually. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
