Synopsys Logic Library team is looking for a software engineer to develop, maintain and improve its fast paced production software system. The job involves maintaining existing code base while continually improving it to the requirements of the product. SW Engineer will be closely working with production teams located at multiple sites and multiple time zones.
The successful candidate must be willing to work on short development cycles. The candidate should possess excellent debugging skills and willingness to learn and debug issues associated with new tools and technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain software automation systems that enables production teams to be efficient.
• Work on short development cycles
• Work closely with multisite and multi time zone production teams
• Debug issues associated with Software systems, compute environment and electronic design automation tools.
• Examine the system and proposes improvements and enhancements
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Key Qualification:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science 
• Python/C/C++ Programming in Unix environment.
• Experience in using source control systems preferably git
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in web development, working with databases and distributed computing
• Experience in writing unit tests and regression tests.
