You Are: 

You are a highly skilled and motivated engineer with a passion for working with product engineers to develop and deploy cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing solutions. You bring a deep understanding of computational lithography, and you are proficient in C/C++, Python, scripting languages, machine learning, HPC technologies, and GPUs. You are dedicated to continuous learning and innovation, always seeking new ways to improve and extend Mask Synthesis capabilities using the latest technological advancements. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Coordinate innovations across all facets of inverse lithography technology (ILT) to develop a comprehensive Mask Synthesis tool.   
  • Explore, assess, prototype, and implement new hardware and algorithms to enhance the capabilities and/or improve the performance of Mask Synthesis tools. 
  • Collaborate with other tools, such as a rigorous simulator and a mask fracturing tool, to create an integrated mask synthesis solution. 
  • Use innovative techniques and ideas to create and investigate new computational lithography methods that expand Mask Synthesis capabilities through Machine Learning, AI, and GPUs. 
  • Collaborate with key customers and field support teams to implement ILT at advanced nodes, troubleshoot, and solve complex technical issues.

  • Orchestrate the development and implementation of innovative computational lithography solutions that push the boundaries of semiconductor manufacturing technology.  
  • Enhance product performance and reliability by analyzing feedback from product engineers or customers directly, ensuring their satisfaction and success.  
  • Develop cutting-edge lithography technologies that help customers achieve superior results at advanced nodes.  
  • Improve the usability and applicability of Mask Synthesis tools, making them more accessible and effective for a broader range of customers.  
  • Collaborate closely with product engineers to drive continuous improvement and innovation in Synopsys' product offerings. 

What You’ll Need: 

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physical Science. 
  • 12+ years of experience in the semiconductor field, with a focus on computational lithography. 
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, scripting languages, machine learning, HPC technologies, and GPUs. 
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for resolving production-related issues. 
  • Experience working with key customers and field support teams to deploy and debug advanced lithography technologies is a plus.
