What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud services for R&D teams to host Generative AI applications on leading cloud platforms.
• Build and deliver cloud-native, containerized AI systems for on-premises customers, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
• Lead orchestration of GPU scheduling within Kubernetes ecosystems, utilizing tools like Nvidia GPU Operator and Multi-Instance GPU (MIG).
• Architect reliable and cost-effective hybrid cloud solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes Cluster Federation, and Azure Arc.
• Streamline onboarding processes for internal products and external customers, creating assets and artifacts that facilitate access to GenAI technologies.
• Collaborate with external customers to understand their environments, constraints, and architectures, defining and integrating tailored platforms and products.
• Prototype, experiment, and test newer technologies—including Generative AI, LLMs, and inference servers—to drive innovation within Synopsys.

What You’ll Need:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in distributed systems, enterprise software, and microservices.
• Expert proficiency in Python and Go programming languages.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes (on-premises and managed services like AKS/EKS/GKE).
• Strong systems knowledge—Linux kernel, cgroups, namespaces, and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to design complex distributed systems and solve challenging problems efficiently.
• Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) for handling large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
• Nice to have: Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, inference servers, and prototyping new technologies.
