You Are:

You are a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional with a passion for applied digital security of HW and SW implementations. With a PhD or advanced MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Sciences, you bring profound expertise in implementations of cryptography and embedded security. You are an expert in side-channel and fault injection analysis and countermeasure development, and you are experienced with physical security evaluations. Your excellent presentation and communication skills enable you to interact effectively across teams and at various levels within the organizations. You thrive in collaborative environments, always ready to help others succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing,optimizingand testing physical security architectures(HW and SW)forcryptographic implementations across allSecurity IPproducts.
  • CoordinatingwithSecurity IP product development teams forin-depth and effective physical security assessment, anddeployment of countermeasures.
  • Coordinating,preparinganddrivingvalidation and certification projectsforsecurity IP productsby external evaluation labs.
  • ProvidingconsultingtoR&D and management onsecurity risk analysisof security IP productsandgiving input forproductroadmaps.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Improving the overallphysical attackresistance of our security IPmodules, mitigatingknown and unknownrisks and threats.
  • Obtaining product security certifications whichdemonstratethe quality and security of our security IP productsto customers.
  • Further driving the successful adoption of an overall physical security mindsetin the security IP R&D teamsand contributing to product development through collaborativeinputandvaluable feedback.
  • Establishing and elevating Synopsys' market position as a leader insecurity IP products.

What You’ll Need:

  • PhD degree(or equivalent by experience)in Electrical Engineering,Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant working experience.
  • In-depth knowledgeofand experience indigitalsecurityimplementations(HW and SW)in the broad sense.
  • Hands-onexperience with side-channel attacks and countermeasures, and fault-injection analysisand countermeasures.
  • Advanced understanding of practicalmoderncryptography andcryptographic standards.
  • Prior experience withvalidation and certification projects by evaluation labsis a plus.
  • Experience withRTL development, embedded SW development and FPGA-based prototyping is a plus.
