Job Description and Requirements
This individual will support early phase R&D projects focused on design and evaluation of new product concepts. Ability to work with engineering and manufacturing teams, provide inputs to them, review results with them and make improvement suggestions.

Responsibilities include:
The CFD/FEA Engineer is responsible for thermal stress testing, fundamental modelling, and stress simulation to address the R&D needs for the HAPS product roadmap and design development cycle. They will also create mechanical solutions based on the modelling from prototype to production.
Requirements and skills:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Must have current working experience of at least 3 years in CFD/FEA Ansys (simulation software).
  • Substantial experience in CAD design and documentation software; SolidWorks preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in terms of explaining design concepts and analysis.
  • Experience in steady-state and transient CFD modelling is preferred.
  • Experience applying engineering fundamentals in stress, fluid mechanics & thermodynamics
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-organized and should be able to prioritize with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications.
  • Proficient knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment design codes (ASME, ANSI). Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
