Job Overview

A Senior Staff R&D role that will deliver Infrastructure solutions for ILT and other Synopsys Mask Synthesis products. This role emphasizes providing optimal interfaces and distributed environment for ILT processes and the related lithography simulation to provide cutting-edge customer solutions. A successful member of the team will be strong in technical creativity to identify and resolve open problems and deliver stable new features. They will work effectively as part of an experienced global software infrastructure team to chart the path for our applications to thrive.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and implement high performance infrastructure to support large-scale geometric data analysis for OPC.
• Optimize infrastructure for distributed computing, ensuring seamless GPU integration.
• Collaborate with application development teams and customers to ensure efficient data handling and computational resource allocation.
• Debug and troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to production line integration.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the tool to meet performance and scalability requirements.

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
• 8+ years of experience in software design, with a focus on computational geometry and distributed processing.
• Expertise in C++, Python, and distributed computing environments.
• Experience in debugging and problem-solving production-related issues.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
