You Are:

You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the SoC Frontend domain. With a robust background in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, you have spent over 15 years navigating the complexities of SoC design, integration, and verification. Your in-depth knowledge of protocols like PCIe, Ethernet, USB, and DDR, along with a strong grasp of processor/interconnect/debug architectures, sets you apart. You excel in leading teams through intricate projects, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to interact effectively with customers, peers, and senior management. You are passionate about innovation and thrive in a collaborative environment where you can mentor teams and drive technological advancements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing all aspects of SoC Frontend functions including RTL, DFT, Verification, Emulation, and Post-Si Validation support.
  • Building, growing, managing, and leading a team of SoC/Subsystem RTL, DFT, and Verification Engineers for various customer engagements.
  • Collaborating with Synopsys customers to understand their needs and define the scope and activities.
  • Mentoring the team in day-to-day activities and preparing them for future assignments.
  • Reviewing results and reports to provide continuous feedback and improve the quality of deliverables.
  • Reporting status to management and providing suggestions to resolve any issues impacting execution.
  • Collaborating with architects, designers, and IP teams to achieve deliverables.
  • Designing, integrating, verifying, and supporting the implementation of ARC/ARM/RISC based CPU Subsystems, Interface IP Subsystems, Interconnects, and SoC Top Level Integration.
  • Fostering an environment of collaboration and accountability while providing leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams.
  • Developing and adhering to quality standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Ramping up on new tools and methodologies using Synopsys Products to enable customers.
  • Working with other Synopsys teams including BU AEs and Sales to develop, broaden, and deploy Tool and IP solutions.

What You’ll Need:

  • BS/MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or Equivalent with 15+ years of experience in the SoC Frontend domain.
  • Good knowledge of various protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR, etc) and/or processor/interconnect/debug architecture.
  • Experience with SoC Integration flows, RTL Quality Signoffs: LINT, CDC/RDC, UPF, Synthesis, Logic Equivalence checking, Constrain Development.
  • Experience with various aspects of pre-silicon Verification (UVM, Coverage Analysis, Verification plan creation, debugging, etc).
  • Ability to lead a team on complex SoC/IP/Subsystems.
  • Experience with planning/managing design and verification activities for SoC/Subsystems/IPs.
  • Strong understanding of design concepts, ASIC flows, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills.
