Job Description and Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee sales of the key portfolio products with matrix connections to the Executive Account Managers.
  • Develop strategic sales strategies. Help the account teams implement to accelerate and grow sales opportunities.
  • Based on the assigned key portfolio products, coordinating and delivering selling material out to the field, and disseminating the best-selling strategies across teams within the region.
  • Gather and assess customer and comparative input from the field and key accounts.
  • Work with product development team and product marketing managers to ensure attractive product offerings.
  • Emphasis will be placed on the ability to know and contribute to the Strategic initiatives. Help Corporate Focus Account Managers align customer’s need to our available resources.
  • Provide product and sales leadership to account sales teams and to the business units.
Activities:
  • May serve as the primary technical sales contact for specified products. In other situations, will help the field team and driving strategic product initiatives.
  • Work in a team environment. Includes Account Managers and/or Executive Account management, Applications Consultants, Professional Consultants, Corporate Applications Engineers, Contracts Administration, and Finance staff. Meet and exceed established sales goals of the group.
  • Identify trends to forecast or respond to requests and inquires from Executives and Focus Account team members. Implement solutions to customer problems by applying inventive ideas.
  • Help the field team. Drive technical selling strategy and to help an expertise of the customer’s challenges and needs with regard to products. Evaluate products, develop a solution proposal, and closes business with the customer.
  • As required, coordinate the preparation of written proposals, and work with internal organizations. May include: legal, finance, and order processing for the purpose of closing business.
  • Accountable for developing complex technical sales plans. May involve comparative displacements, or inventive business agreements to meet pre-established quotas.
Job Requirements:
  • BS with typically 10-20 years related experience in technical selling and /or helping technical sales. Knowledge of Integrated Circuits in general, IC design and development flows.
  • Knowledge of the complete sales process. Excellent communication skills. Ability to interact with engineering at all levels.
  • You’ll be creating and fostering relationships with key option makers on the customer side and conducting qualification/discovery meetings with the goal of knowledge how Synopsys Digital Implementation platform fits the customer needs.
  • With the help of field engineering, you will also be accountable to represent the needs of our customers to the Digital Implementation Technical Marketing team and to Product management.
