What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with key customer stakeholders to drive renewal and generate new business, meeting annual sales quotas for assigned accounts.
  • Identify and define customer solutions where Synopsys offerings can be applied, collaborating with technical teams to develop compelling presentations and enhance new business opportunities.
  • Support and execute long-term strategies to grow usage by connecting Synopsys solutions to customer challenges and priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal account teams, product specialists, and business partners to deliver comprehensive support for assigned accounts.
  • Facilitate regular touchpoint activities such as management review meetings, trainings, seminars, and info days to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Document customer requirements and success metrics to demonstrate Synopsys’ ROI and enhance sale profitability.
  • Support sales and technical partnerships to uncover and address key technical challenges and pain points.
  • Research and analyze account information, developing deep knowledge of customer needs, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Assist with multiyear contract negotiations and create ROI-based proposals to achieve wins for both the customer and Synopsys.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurately enter sales data into Salesforce, keeping administrative tasks up to date.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field, with at least 2+ years of experience in technical sales (or 4+ years of relevant experience).
  • Demonstrated success in technical sales positions, ideally within high-tech or engineering sectors.
  • Fluent in English and the local language of the Michigan territory.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of Synopsys products/services and pricing practices, with a general understanding of engineering analysis and technology.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce for pipeline management and data entry.
  • Strong executive presentation and persuasion skills, with the ability to craft ROI-driven proposals.
  • Strategic planning skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
