About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned IP Product Sales professional to lead and grow our semiconductor IP business. This role focuses on understanding real customer demand behind SoC design challenges and translating that demand into balanced, high‑value IP solutions.
You will work as a lead interface between customers and the IP business unit, driving IP strategy execution, identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and closing deals. Success in this role requires strong technical intuition, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead cross‑functional collaboration toward mutual customer and business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IP business and sales strategies to accelerate revenue growth
- Proactively identify, research, and interpret customer demand across global semiconductor accounts
- Translate customer SoC design requirements into well‑balanced IP solutions considering performance, risk, and business value
- Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity discovery through negotiation and deal closure
- Collaborate closely with Account Teams, R&D, FAE, Product, and Legal to structure effective IP licensing models
- Act as the primary sales leader and point of contact for the IP business unit toward customers
- Build compelling value propositions and sales materials to clearly communicate solution benefits
- Understand customer decision‑making processes and engage key stakeholders at technical and executive levels
- Drive internal alignment and motivate cross‑functional teams to support new solutions and business directions
- Contribute to long‑term industry growth by enabling customer success through IP adoption
Required
- 7–10+ years of experience in semiconductor, SoC, or related B2B technology sales
- Strong understanding of SoC/ASIC design concepts and system‑level architecture
- Proven ability to sense and interpret underlying customer needs beyond stated requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and solution‑oriented selling skills
- Ability to work as a sales leader coordinating multiple internal functions
- Business‑level English communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred
- Direct experience in IP, licensing, or royalty‑based business models (not mandatory)
- Background in semiconductor engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience engaging with customers in Mobile, Automotive, AI, Data Center, or Consumer markets
- Strong customer network and experience working with senior technical and business decision‑makers
Note: Prior IP business experience is not mandatory. Open mindset, continuous learning, and strong problem‑solving attitude are highly valued.
