You Are:

You are an energetic and results-driven sales professional with a passion for building lasting relationships and delivering innovative solutions. Your extensive experience in technical sales empowers you to understand complex engineering environments and identify opportunities for Simulation & Analysis(S&A) products and services. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings and are adept at navigating both internal and external ecosystems, leveraging your communication and organizational skills to maximize impact. You possess a Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or a related field, complemented by at least 4+ years of demonstrated success in technical sales—or 8+ years if you’re a proven industry veteran. Fluent in English and the local language, you are comfortable presenting to VP and C-level executives and excel at tailoring your approach to diverse customer needs. You’re committed to continual learning, keeping up with new and existing products, and championing customer feedback to drive product innovation. Adaptable and self-motivated, you are ready to travel up to 50% as needed to support customers and partners. Your proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously make you a valued contributor, ready to help customers develop new products and improve existing processes through cutting-edge engineering simulation solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing sales activities and establishing, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships with current and prospective customers to drive renewal and generate new business within your assigned territory.
  •   Creating and conducting impactful sales presentations that align customer requirements with positive business outcomes using S&A engineering simulation products.
  •   Staying abreast of new and existing products/services to effectively facilitate sales efforts and communicate product value to customers.
  •   Researching and identifying sources for developing current and prospective customers, assessing their potential and needs.
  •   Developing clear and effective written proposals and quotations for customers, ensuring alignment with their objectives.
  •   Creating and maintaining detailed account plans for existing customers, highlighting profile, share, and value opportunities.
  •   Coordinating sales efforts with global teams including marketing, account management, technical services, legal, and accounting.
  •   Maintaining accurate sales data and reports within CRM systems, and providing reliable forecasts for new sales and renewals.
  •   Leveraging trade shows, conventions, and seminars to enhance business development and expand opportunities within your customer base.
  •   Alerting clients to new or improved products/services, relaying their feedback to product development teams, and serving as a resource to channel partners during the sales process.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  •   4+ years of demonstrated success in technical sales positions (or 8+ years for seasoned professionals).
  •   Strong understanding of engineering analysis, technology, and simulation environments.
  •   Experience with CRM systems and sales data management.
  •   Fluency in English and the local language of the territory (Shanghai).
  •   Ability to travel up to 50% as required to support customer and business needs.
  •   Knowledge of S&A products/services and territory-specific expertise is a plus.
  •   Ability to present to VP & C-level executives with confidence and clarity.
