What You’ll Be Doing:
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers within your assigned territory.
- Managing renewal business and generating new business to achieve or exceed revenue objectives.
- Creating and executing long-term strategies to grow account usage and transform customers into strategic partners.
- Delivering impactful sales presentations that clearly articulate the value of Synopsys solutions, using metrics and proof points tailored to customer needs.
- Building relationships with business leaders and customer executives, positioning them as champions for Synopsys solutions.
- Coordinating sales efforts across marketing, account teams, sales management, legal, and technical services groups globally.
- Developing effective written proposals/quotations that address customer requirements and maximize value for both parties.
- Maintaining comprehensive account plans highlighting opportunities for growth and value.
- Researching and expanding into new customer groups and markets, leveraging trade shows, conventions, and seminars.
- Completing administrative tasks including quotation generation, order processing, contract preparation, and accurate Salesforce data entry.
- Staying abreast of new and existing products/services to drive sales efforts and relay customer feedback to product development.
- Coaching and mentoring earlier-career sales professionals within the team.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of related experience.
- Demonstrated track record of overachievement in technical sales positions.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities while tracking progress efficiently.
- Autonomous, proactive approach with the ability to navigate complex sales and customer issues independently.
- Strong networking skills for driving new contacts and maintaining robust business relationships.
- Leadership and collaboration skills, with experience coaching and mentoring others.
- Fluency in English and the local language of the territory.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% regionally.
- Knowledge of Synopsys products/services and pricing practices is a plus.
- Understanding of engineering analysis and technology highly preferred.
- Proficiency in sales fundamentals and execution of core sales pillars.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and executive presentation skills.
