Job Description and Requirements

Synopsys is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive the sales of our entire portfolio of IP products. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue and booking goals by providing professional technical selling throughout all phases of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing the sale. This role requires a proactive individual capable of establishing new customer relationships and expanding our presence in existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in complex, solution-based sales campaigns and the ability to provide leadership to account sales teams and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales to meet or exceed revenue and booking goals.
  • Lead the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale.
  • Establish and expand relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide product and sales leadership to account sales teams and business units.
  • Manage complex project engagements and work cross-functionally to achieve sales objectives.
  • Deliver technical selling in a team environment.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in technology sales, preferably in IP/EDA/semiconductor sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of SoC design flow and the IP market.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and determine effective solutions.
  • Proven leadership in managing complex sales projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills in both Chinese and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; MBA, MSEE, or MSCS is a plus.
  • Proactive attitude in business initiatives and a strong drive for business growth.

Qualifications:

  • BSEE/BSCS or other technical degree required; MBA/MSEE/MSCS is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in driving multi-million dollar, complex solution-based sales campaigns.
  • Ability to call “high” and influence senior decision-makers.
