WW Sales Operations - Sales Forecasting Team
Job Description and Requirements
We are seeking a Forecast Analyst to join the Worldwide Sales Forecast Team. In this role you will support the WW sales forecast in two key areas: Weekly data validation/reporting and supporting forecast systems/tools.
Ensuring with Field Sales, IT/System Administrators you will ensure tools are configured correctly to deliver our weekly sales forecast. This role will also drive change management in support of new business initiatives, acquisitions, and as part of our annual planning process. We are transforming the forecast process at Synopsys, a collaborative approach and willingness to embrace change are highly desirable. Experience supporting a complex Enterprise B2B sales team, and an understanding of pipeline management and forecasting practices will be key to success in this role.

Qualifications
- Experience supporting Enterprise B2B Sales and/or order management processes
- 1-2 years’ experience working on cross functional projects in Technology or similar industry
- Extreme attention to detail
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel
- Experienced user of Saleforce.com. Familiar with permission, security, data access models, reporting hierarchy, account, and opportunity management best practices
- Familiarity with Software, Hardware, and SAAS revenue recognition principles
Desired Experience, Skills
- Experience using Salesforce.com, Admin certification preferred
- Experience with Salesforce.com quoting and forecasting tools
- Experience in technology or similar industry
- SAP experience a plus
