Job Description and Requirements

We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You are an experienced sales operations and business planning leader who uses forecasting as a decision-making discipline. You separate signal from noise, create leadership visibility, and surface risk early.

You translate strategy into operating rhythms, planning frameworks, and cross-functional alignment that scale across regions, segments, and functions.

You bring the rigor, judgment, and executive credibility needed to strengthen forecasting, planning, and investment decisions across a global GTM organization.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the end-to-end sales forecasting process across the Go-to-Market organization, including forecast governance, reporting timelines, risk identification, and executive insights
  • Partner closely with GTM leadership to improve forecast accuracy, pipeline visibility, and overall sales performance insight
  • Translate business strategy into scalable planning frameworks, operating reviews, and decision-support tools
  • Develop clear, executive-ready reporting and analysis that highlight trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
  • Align forecasting and planning assumptions across sales, finance, people teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support investment and resource allocation decisions through data-driven analysis and business modeling
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, establishing strong operating discipline, clear priorities, and a culture of excellence
  • Strengthen planning processes and business rhythms to support continued growth, organizational change, and GTM transformation
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders on forecasting, planning, and sales execution strategy

The Impact You Will Have

  • You will strengthen revenue predictability and give leadership the visibility they need to make confident investment decisions
  • Your forecasting frameworks will become the operating rhythm that helps sales leaders execute with clarity and accountability
  • You will reduce friction between sales, finance, and cross-functional teams by aligning planning assumptions and business models
  • Your analysis will surface risks and opportunities early enough to act on them, not just report them
  • You will build the planning infrastructure that supports GTM transformation and continued growth at scale
  • Your team will set the standard for operational discipline and business rigor across the sales organization
  • You will enable better resource allocation decisions by connecting strategy to execution through clear, data-driven planning

What You'll Need

  • 15+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business planning, finance, or a related function
  • Significant experience supporting complex, global sales or Go-to-Market organizations
  • Proven leadership experience in forecasting, planning, and business performance management
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities, including scenario modeling and executive decision support
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across a matrixed organization
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in enterprise technology, semiconductor, software, or other complex B2B environments is a plus

Who You Are

  • You have strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear business insights and recommendations
  • You bring strong business judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • You have experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • You have a track record of improving planning rigor and forecast quality in a complex environment
  • You are familiar with CRM, forecasting, and analytics platforms
  • You have experience supporting GTM transformation, growth planning, or organizational redesign
