What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing and operating Linux-based EDA engineering compute platforms to support large-scale R&D and customer workloads.  
• Leading the integration of agentic AI workflows for compute resource allocation, job scheduling, prioritization, and capacity planning. 
• Applying ML/AI techniques to enhance observability, anomaly detection, and predictive capacity management.
• Supporting and optimizing secure EDA compute environments at customer sites, ensuring compliance with IT and InfoSec policies. 
• Architecting and implementing infrastructure automation using scripting, orchestration, and CI/CD-style operational workflows.
• Automating server lifecycle management (provisioning, maintenance, decommissioning) for on-prem data centers.
• Improving reliability and efficiency of EDA job schedulers, remote access services, virtualization, and compute resource pools  
• Acting as a technical influencer for new infrastructure technologies and AI-enabled operational models within the Taiwan IT team.
• Collaborating with Corporate IT, global SRE teams, InfoSec, and EDA engineering and customer support teams.
• Defining best practices for AI-assisted infrastructure operations under security and compliance constraints.

• Contributing to the development and deployment of next-generation EDA tools and compute platforms.
• Setting the standard for secure, compliant operations in restricted and regulated environments.

What You’ll Need:

• Strong Linux system administration experience in enterprise-scale environments.
• Solid background in DevOps, SRE, or IT infrastructure administration.
• Hands-on expertise in infrastructure automation (scripting, orchestration, configuration management).
• Proven experience introducing AI-driven or agentic automation into IT or DevOps workflows.
• Ability to translate operational problems into AI-enabled solutions, not just tooling experiments.
• Experience with compute resource monitoring, observability, and data center hardware (servers, networking, storage).
• Fluent English communication skills for global collaboration.
• Preferred: Experience supporting EDA, HPC, or large-scale compute environments.
• Preferred: Exposure to secure or regulated environments, such as secure chambers or restricted networks.
• Preferred: Certifications like RHCE, cloud, or infrastructure-related credentials.
• Preferred: Experience designing automation under security and compliance constraints.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:

You will join Synopsys Taiwan’s Information Technology team, a diverse group of experts dedicated to driving operational excellence and innovation in engineering compute platforms. The team collaborates closely with Corporate IT, InfoSec, EDA engineering, and customer support, as well as external secure-site stakeholders. Together, you will pioneer AI-driven automation, secure chamber operations, and best practices for infrastructure reliability, supporting Synopsys R&D and key customer environments across Taiwan and beyond.
