We are looking for a motivated Engineer with a strong foundation in Linux internals and firmware development. The role involves working closely with senior designers on Linux kernel, device drivers, bootloaders, and low‑level firmware, contributing to development, debugging, testing, and performance optimization of system software for ARM based SOC platform solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in development, configuration, and maintenance of Linux kernel components
- Debug kernel issues related to boot, memory management, scheduling, filesystems, and power
- Develop and maintain Linux device drivers for peripherals and SoC components
- Analyze kernel crashes using tools like dmesg, crash, ftrace, perf
- Contribute to firmware development (bootloaders, BSPs, low‑level drivers)
- Work on bootloaders such as U‑Boot (build, porting, customization)
- Assist in board bring‑up and hardware‑software integration
- Support debugging of firmware issues using JTAG, UART logs, and hardware debuggers
What You’ll Need:
Education:
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of working experience
Technical Skills (Mandatory):
- Strong understanding of Linux OS fundamentals
- C and Python programming
- Good knowledge of Linux kernel architecture
- Familiarity with embedded systems concepts
Understanding of:
- Boot process (ROM → bootloader → kernel → rootfs)
- Memory‑mapped I/O, interrupts, DMA
- Experience with Git and basic Linux command‑line tools
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging mindset
- Willingness to learn low‑level system software
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to work well in a team environment
