Key Program Facts:
- Program Length: 4 months
- Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
- Working Model: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in-office)
- Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Start Date: Spring 2026 (January to April 2026)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Testing and validating existing software features to ensure quality and reliability.
- Testing and validating new software features under development, contributing to innovation and product excellence.
- Assisting in the creation of automated tools and tests to streamline development and testing processes.
- Engaging in research activities to support model verification, validation, feature testing, and other research-oriented projects.
- Collaborating closely with development and testing teams on quality improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (3rd or 4th year), Master’s, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with completed coursework in fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
- Proficiency with computers and strong technical aptitude.
- Experience with computer programming, especially Python and C++.
- Experience with numerical methods for solving engineering and physics problems.
- Experience working with simulation software.
- Genuine interest in learning and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative and creative mindset
Salary Information:
The base salary range across Canada for this role is between $25.00-$35.00 CAD per hour. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more specific details upon request.
