What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform software product testing and investigate possible causes of problems, following established development and testing processes.
  • Analyze requirements and develop tests for new features within the appropriate environment.
  • Create, update, and modify existing tests as necessary to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct functional, application, regression, and performance tests in manual and/or automated test environments.
  • Participate in code review and approval processes, collaborating with developers to resolve product defects.
  • Detect, document, and report software defects, and work with the team to identify resolutions.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Computer Engineering, or another engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Enrollment in a full-time degree program and intention to return to university after the internship.
  • Demonstrated computing skills, including knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and programming/scripting languages.
  • Preferred: Experience with Python, C/C++ programming languages, familiarity with Ansys products and computer-aided software engineering tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly, collaborate in geographically distributed teams, and communicate effectively (written and oral).
  • Strong planning, problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented approach to work.

  • Program Length: 4 months (May 2026 – August 2026)
  • Location: Canonsburg, PA
  • Working Model: Hybrid (percentage remote/onsite to be specified based on local policy)
  • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
  • Start Date: May 2026
