You Are:
You are a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager with a passion for optimizing and managing complex supply chains. With a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing Contract Manufacturers (CM) and their supply chain deliverables, you have a deep understanding of outsource manufacturing service models and hardware manufacturing operations disciplines. Your strong communication and negotiation skills enable you to forge strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams alike. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable, with a process-savvy mindset that allows you to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise with PDM tools (such as Arena or Agile) and ERP systems such as SAP ensures that you can effectively manage supply chain operations to meet business objectives. You are committed to driving cost reduction initiatives and ensuring supply chain continuity, risk mitigation, and supplier performance evaluation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Owning and managing overall commercial relationships with Contract Manufacturers, including supplier performance, cost, and quality initiatives.
- Obtaining quotations from CMs and supporting FCST and NPI projects.
- Coordinating the mitigation of EOL material to ensure supply chain continuity.
- Working closely with the commodity management team to support supply chain flexibility and manufacturability.
- Managing CM spend analysis and quarterly inventory offset objectives.
- Implementing component sourcing strategies at the CMs that align with Synopsys business initiatives.
- Monitoring supply chain market conditions to identify potential issues and actions.
- Reporting to leadership on challenges that could impact the business.
- Managing QBRs with designated suppliers to evaluate and enhance performance.
- Overseeing CCL lists with contract manufacturers, commodity management, and NPI.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Ensuring the seamless operation of the supply chain to support the Hardware Assisted Verification division of SDG.
- Driving cost reduction initiatives to meet financial targets and improve profitability.
- Mitigating risks to maintain supply chain continuity and avoid disruptions.
- Enhancing supplier performance through regular evaluations and strategic partnerships.
- Supporting new product introduction (NPI) projects through effective supply chain management.
- Contributing to the overall success and innovation of Synopsys by optimizing supply chain operations.
What You’ll Need:
- BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing Contract Manufacturers and their supply chain deliverables.
- Knowledge of outsource manufacturing service models and hardware manufacturing operations disciplines.
- Proven experience in CM management and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with PDM tools (Arena or Agile) and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, process-savvy, and adaptable to business needs.

You will be part of a dedicated and collaborative team within the Hardware Assisted Verification division of SDG. This team focuses on ensuring the seamless operation of the supply chain to support the division's business objectives. You will work closely with commodity management, NPI, and other cross-functional teams to drive supply chain excellence and support the development of cutting-edge technology.
