You Are: 

You are a seasoned International Tax Senior Manager with a passion for solving complex tax challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment. With over eight years of hands-on experience in public accounting or a multinational corporate setting, you bring deep expertise in U.S. international tax, including FDDEI (FDII legacy), FTC, Subpart F, GILTI/NCTI, and BEAT.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Leading the international components of quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740, ensuring accuracy and compliance. 
  • Preparing and reviewing complex international tax calculations, including FDDEI (FDII legacy), FTC, Subpart F, GILTI/NCTI, and BEAT. 
  • Strong modeling and data analytics skills, with advanced use of Excel and other tools to analyze, validate, and guide in tax planning.  
  • Managing U.S. international tax compliance, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8992, 8993, and related disclosures. 
  • Overseeing ongoing OECD Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) processes, including analysis, documentation, compliance and financial statement impacts. 
  • Partnering with internal teams and external advisors on transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and compliance. 
  • Monitoring global tax developments and assessing their business impact, providing tax support for cross-border transactions and strategic initiatives. 
  • Leading, developing, and mentoring direct reports within the international tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 
  • Driving process improvements to enhance documentation, controls, and efficiency within the tax function.

  • Ensuring Synopsys’ global tax compliance and provision processes are robust, accurate, and aligned with evolving regulatory requirements. 
  • Mitigating tax risks and optimizing tax positions across international operations, contributing directly to the company’s financial health. 
  • Enabling strategic business decisions by providing expert insights on global tax developments, including OECD Pillar Two and local minimum tax regimes. 
  • Enhancing collaboration across Finance, Accounting, Legal, and regional teams. 
  • Driving innovation in tax processes and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy. 


What You’ll Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
  • CPA, JD, and/or MST 
  • 8+ years of international tax experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporate environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax, including FDDEI (FDII legacy), FTC, Subpart F, GILTI/NCTI, and BEAT. 
  • Hands-on ASC 740 international tax provision experience. 
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring tax professionals. 
  • Experience with OECD Pillar Two / Global Minimum Tax and transfer pricing highly desirable. 
  • Experience using AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to enhance productivity, analysis, and documentation.
