Job Description:
The successful candidate is responsible for developing the resources and programs to meet the business plan for Synopsys IP product lines servicing Mobile, Automotive and Consumer/IoT markets. The candidate will oversee the definition of IP Portfolio features and capabilities, to meet market needs for the IP Portfolio. The candidate will create of internal and external collateral, and will work closely with the field organization, Product marketing, R&D and partners to identify and drive business opportunities bt providing the technical depth for customer design success. Responsibilities include:
- Technical lead in customer meetings
- Definition, alignment and promotion of technical position that will result in sustainable growth in the Mobile, Automotive, Consumer/IoT markets
- Creation of strategic and tactical plans with set of products and features addressing the market needs
- Generation of technical marketing requirements documents related with Serdes and Digital controller products
- Technical ownership of Serdes architectures covering multiple protocols
- Influence product owners towards product roadmaps that fulfill market needs
- Sales channel communication and training
- Promotion of IP Portfolio through participation in industry events such as panels, positioning articles, and seminars
- Working closely with sales, technical and product marketing, engineering and application engineering teams to develop and explain the differentiated technology that result with customer market success
Qualifications:
- Energetic, results-driven individual
- Previous product marketing or technical marketing experience, preferably system level, ASIC or system on chip design
- Experience with Interface IP protocols, mixed signal, and semiconductor chip design
- Knowledge of Interface IP (such as Ethernet, MIPI, USB, PCIe) usage in Mobile, Automotive, Consumer and IoT market segments
- Experience with intellectual property licensing and business models a plus
- Track record of successfully defining products with technical contribution to market success
- Proven ability to develop and foster relationships with sales teams, key customers, and partners
- Strong organizational and program management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated marketing expertise in product positioning, value proposition articulation and creation of compelling collateral
- Excellent oral/public speaking and written communication skills
- Education and Experience: BS EE with 16+ yrs relevant experience. MS EE (preferred) with 14+ yrs relevant experience.
