You are a tech-savvy and passionate technical writer with a keen eye for detail and a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. With a background in electronics, science, hardware, computing, software, physics, mathematics, or engineering, you bring a unique blend of technical expertise and creative writing skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with design engineering teams to gather raw content and transform it into valuable user guides, technical specifications, and application notes. You are highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and committed to delivering high-quality documentation that adheres to style guides and processes. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to interact effectively with multi-site teams, ensuring that all customer documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing and writing user documentation for various Digital and Mixed Signal IPs.
• Planning, organizing, writing, and editing technical specifications, engineering schematics, application notes, and user guides.
• Collaborating with design engineering teams to collect raw content and transform it into user-consumable collateral.
• Ensuring strict adherence to style guides and documentation processes.
• Interacting and collaborating with multi-site teams to deliver high-quality documentation.
• Having a significant and immediate impact on all customer documentation produced and the documentation roadmap.

• Contributing to the creation of leading-edge micro-chips found in the latest smartphones, data center servers, and automobile smart systems.
• Enhancing the usability and adoption of Synopsys' products through clear and comprehensive documentation.
• Supporting the design engineering team by providing accurate and detailed technical documentation.
• Improving customer satisfaction by ensuring that all user guides and technical specifications are easy to understand and follow.
• Helping to maintain Synopsys' reputation for excellence in the semiconductor industry.
• Driving continuous improvement in documentation processes and standards.

What You’ll Need:

• Degree or master's in electronics, science, hardware, computing, software, physics, mathematics, or engineering discipline. Other technical disciplines also considered.
• 3-7 years of technical writing experience in the software or hardware industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; strong logical reasoning and solution-oriented approach.
• Experience with authoring tools such as FrameMaker.
• Excellent English writing and speaking skills.

The team collaborates closely with design engineering teams to ensure that all technical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly. Together, you will contribute to the creation of leading-edge micro-chips and support Synopsys' mission of continuous technological innovation.
