Position Summary
 We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Engineer to join our Verification Software team, focusing on EDA software testing. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the validation and testing of the Verdi platform to ensure its quality, stability, and performance. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of hardware description languages and scripting, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our EDA tools and directly contributes to the satisfaction of our customers.
 
Responsibilities and Duties
 • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for EDA software, specifically targeting Verdi.
 • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
 • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product engineering, and customer support.
 • Automate test procedures using scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
 • Analyze test results and provide clear and actionable feedback.
 • Support regression testing and continuous integration processes.
 • Contribute to the improvement of test methodologies and best practices.
 
Qualifications / Skills
 • Master’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
 • Familiarity with hardware description languages such as Verilog, SystemVerilog and VHDL.
 • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
 • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
 • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
 • Experience in EDA software validation or semiconductor design is a plus.
 • Familiarity with the Verdi platform is highly desirable.
