With a foundation in engineering or computer science and a strong understanding of high-frequency principles, you thrive in environments where precision and quality are paramount. You possess a keen analytical mind, able to dissect complex systems, spot potential flaws, and devise robust testing strategies that ensure products exceed customer expectations. Your experience with software testing, combined with technical proficiency in scripting, enables you to automate and streamline verification processes efficiently.

You enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, communicating technical insights, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Adaptable and quick to learn, you embrace new technologies and computing environments, from Windows and Linux to cloud platforms. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality drive you to pursue excellence in every aspect of your work. You are motivated by the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools like Ansys HFSS and HFSS 3D Layout, and you are excited to help shape products that advance the industry. If you value teamwork, innovation, and the pursuit of technical excellence, Synopsys offers you a place to grow and make a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing, specifying, and writing comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Developing, updating, and maintaining test scripts for both manual and automated test environments.
  • Conducting functional, regression, application, and performance testing to ensure product reliability and quality.
  • Creating detailed test plans, participating in defect management processes, and tracking testing metrics.
  • Collaborating closely with developers and technical specialists to understand, reproduce, and resolve product defects.
  • Working across diverse computing environments, including Windows, Linux, virtual machines, compute clusters, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensuring that product releases meet feature specifications and quality standards before approval for deployment.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Elevate the quality and reliability of Synopsys’ industry-leading engineering software, directly impacting customer satisfaction and trust.
  • Accelerate product development cycles by identifying and resolving defects early in the process.
  • Ensure that new features and enhancements meet rigorous standards, supporting the success of advanced technology solutions in the market.
  • Contribute to the successful deployment of products used in high-impact industries, such as electronics, semiconductors, and communications.
  • Enhance collaboration between development and quality assurance teams, driving continuous process improvement.
  • Support Synopsys’ reputation for technical excellence and innovation, helping to maintain our leadership position in the industry.

What You’ll Need:

  • BS in Engineering or related field with at least 3 years of experience, or MS with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Technical background in high-frequency principles and applications, including RF and microwave electronics, antennas, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, particularly Python.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with computing environments such as Windows, Linux, virtual machines, compute clusters, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with EDA/CAE software and analysis tools (Ansys HFSS experience is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to create, modify, and maintain complex test scripts.

Who You Are:
