Internship / Work placement title: CFD Computational Fluid Dynamics R&D Engineering Internship

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Test ANSYS Fluids software, providing high-quality feedback to developers to enhance software quality and reliability within project timelines.
  • Gain hands-on experience with automated testing systems, developing new tests for evolving products.
  • Utilize scripting and AI tools to improve efficiency in test creation and analysis of test results.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of CFD software and implement tests that reflect real-world customer scenarios.
  • Work on verification and validation of new models in the solver, contributing to next-generation fluids products.
  • Assist in producing detailed test specifications, focusing on potential problematic areas and acceptance testing, including installations, licensing, regression, and manual tests.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing your 3rd year of study of an integrated master program in an engineering discipline (aeronautical, mechanical, or chemical).
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, C#, Jscript, Python, FORTRAN).
  • Demonstrated interest in engineering simulation software, especially CFD.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and commitment to seeing challenging tasks through to completion.
  • Inquisitive, proactive, and methodical approach to work.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
